Contract Law

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts while protecting the client’s legal and business interests.

Contract documentation prepared for legal review.

A well-drafted contract clearly defines rights, obligations, risks, and the consequences of non-performance, reducing the likelihood of future disputes.

We provide support during the negotiation, drafting, and review of domestic and international contracts, tailored to the specific business or private circumstances.

A contract is only as valuable as it is clear when things do not go to plan. That is why we pay particular attention to provisions on deadlines, liability, termination and dispute resolution.

Areas of Practice

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Negotiating contractual terms
  • Sale and purchase agreements
  • Lease agreements
  • Works and services agreements
  • Business cooperation agreements
  • Contract termination and damages

How we approach your matter

Before drafting, we discuss the commercial goal and the risks you want to avoid. Only then do we write a text that reflects the actual deal, rather than a generic template with blanks filled in.

When you receive a contract from the other side, we carry out a legal review: we point out unfavourable clauses, suggest changes and, if needed, take part in negotiations. If a dispute arises, we represent you in enforcement or termination.

How we work together

  • Agreeing the goal: we understand what the contract must achieve and what is at issue.
  • Draft or review: we prepare the text or comment on the other side's contract.
  • Negotiation: we align the terms until the contract is acceptable to you.
  • Signing and performance: we follow the signing and stay on hand during performance.

Worth knowing

For certain contracts, the law prescribes a special form, such as written form or certification by a notary. A contract not concluded in the prescribed form may have no legal effect, whatever the parties agreed.

The best contract is one you never have to interpret in court.
